The customer sign-up process involves providing Behalf with information about your business and details about the business contact. You’ll be asked to provide the following:

1. Business Name
2. Business Type
3. Business Address
4. Business Email
5. Responsible Party’s Name (e.g. business owner or CFO)
6. Responsible Party’s Phone
7. Responsible Party’s Address
8. Business TIN (Tax ID Number)
9. Estimate of annual Revenue
10. Responsible Party’s Social Security Number and Date of Birth

Please note that signing up for Behalf will not adversely impact a personal credit score. When a business customer signs up for Behalf, a ‘soft’ inquiry will be made on the business contact or Responsible Party’s personal credit history. This information is included as a factor in your business’ eligibility for a Behalf business account. In addition, we will obtain a business credit report.

All the information provided is then reviewed by Behalf to determine if an account can be approved and if so, what purchasing limit, terms and fee will be assigned to the account. While Behalf’s credit policies are confidential, generally speaking, Behalf’s business customers must be registered in the United States (excluding West Virginia for MCA customers) or U.S. Territories and have a U.S. business bank account. In addition, the business contact or Responsible Party of the account must also be a United States resident and should have ‘good’ or ‘better’ credit.
