An LLC primarily identifies itself by its name. These include the following additions to the business name: Limited Liability Company (or LLC, or L.L.C.). Some states allow “Limited Company” or “Ltd. Co.”.
For example: “Acme, Limited Liability Company”, “Acme LLC” and “Acme Ltd. Co.” all identify the business as an LLC.
